I believe our biggest threat to ourselves is our inability to believe in ourselves and understand what we are truly capable of.
Leah Johansen, MD is not your average doctor. When she’s not saving lives or helping people unlock their inner pharmacy, she’s busy trying to find out why her patients keep asking her if they can eat cookies on the Mediterranean diet. A board-certified family and community medicine physician with a background in functional medicine and energy healing, Dr. Johansen has made it her mission to blend science and spirituality—because why not have chakras and lab tests in the same conversation? When she’s not in the clinic or exploring the cosmos of self-care, you can find her attempting to convince people that magic and medicine do mix, one laugh at a time.
Dr. Johansen earned her medical degree from Trinity School of Medicine and completed her residency training in family and community medicine at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in 2019. She is recognized as a Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner by the Institute of Functional Medicine since 2019.
Leah has also been known to race in 100mile ultramarathons, smoothly take her Triumph Speed Triple RR motorcycle to speeds above 160mph, and convince her multiple CEO executives patients that prostate massage is good for their health
